Great informative staff. Can pick resort passes up from there. Got given a map & loads of events flyers when we went in. Couldn't of asked for more helpful and informative staff. Wasn't hard to find and was close to the tower so also close to Blackpool.north train station.

Ideally located on the seafront, close to the Tower and North Pier. Lots of leaflets and info about events, shows and attractions in Blackpool and Lancashire, as well as bus and tram times. I always find the staff cheerful, friendly and helpful. You can buy a resort pass that will get you into up to nine major attractions, and there are £5 discount vouchers in the events guide.

Stanley Park

W Park Dr, Blackpool FY3 9HU, UK – 01253 477477

Very enjoyable afternoon spent here. We had a late picnic lunch, found a picnic table in amongst some trees. Which was a relief from the heat we are experiencing, this summer. There is a lake, where byou can hire a rowing boat and very attractive gardens. Enjoyed a delicious 99 ice-cream. Well worth a visit for young and old alike. There was a children's play ground and a bowling green. The Italian garden had at its centre an attractive fountain.

This is great park, providing a lovely day out for families. Has a cafe, boating lake, kids play area, leisure centre, golfing grounds and a cricket club. Voted best park in the UK, it is definitely worth a visit! Plenty of wildlife to see including ducks, swans, geese, squirrels and the occassional rabbit!

Salisbury Woodland

Blackpool FY3 8PW, UK

Very good walks here. Very relaxing. There is a few seats to rest if you feel like a break

A peaceful woodland walk with native and exotic trees, little bridges over a stream, a picnic area and a military bunker left behind from World War II. The woodland floor is carpeted with wild flowers. A good place to spot birds, squirrels, butterflies, dragonflies and bats.

Great website!. Click below to find gardens open during the year around Blackpool or Lancashire. There are photos and lots of detail about the garden.
