Only been here once when I first moved to the area. Staff were pretty friendly and the place is fairly modern

Jobcentre Plus

Municipal Buildings, Corporation St, Blackpool FY1 1NF, UK – 0800 169 0190

Since I've lived in Blackpool for just over 18 months now I've had no trouble with this JC, in fact I've found the staff at Blackpool JC helpful looking for work a lot better from where I came from on the south coast of Portsmouth... down there they are at 90 miles an hour and very abusive and vindictive trying to catch you out at every moment anything to sanction you and haven't got the time in hell to help you just for 10 minutes but I guess that's because it's a Tory driven region however... here in Blackpool things are different I guess that's down to the case that if you want to look for work, the Jobcentre will help you at its best if you're a lazy ass that wants to stay on the dole for the rest of your life that's not interested then you're going to get treated like that since moving here I have worked at the Pleasure Beach which I really enjoyed life is so much better having a job paying your rent and buying your food weekly and getting up in the morning I'm going to bed at proper times in the evening it's fantastic oh and did I also mention the bonus of able to claim working tax credit as an extra £50 a week just for going to work on top of your wages it seems that a lot of people don't know that you're entitled to this free money as a bonus and such people on the dole benefits get such tide into the same routine that they think if they sign off benefits the world's going to end this is the wrong thought completely it's entirely up to you get a job or be a bum for the rest of your life.

Not very impressed at the service I received when they lost all my evidence not once but twice. Eventually got a helpful member of staff who sorted it all out

Jobs done by Jo

9 Fulwood Ave, Blackpool FY3 7NT, UK – 07970 781370

I found Jobs by Jo highly experienced and competent, the company claims to meet and exceed the expectations of clients, with no-nonsense efficiency and excellent turnaround times. I found this to be the case and nothing was compromised on quality in the way they delivered that claim. A cost-effective alternative to employing staff, Jobs by Jo provides me support only when needed. There are no binding contracts, I pay only for the time taken on each job. With broad business experience and knowledge gained at high level in a variety of businesses, participating in business decisions and with autonomy and leadership, Jo is well-positioned to understand the demands and limitations placed on small business owners.

Jo has been working with me as a virtual assistant for over 6 months now and I can say I would have no hesitation in recommending her to any business looking for help at busy times. She's dependable, quick to learn and great to get on with. Well worth 5 stars!
